Design Thinking 101

Join Us For An Introductory Class in Design Thinking

What is Design Thinking? How has it been used? Is it more than a trend?

Design Thinking has actually been around for a long time, but has only come to the forefront in recent years. Learn why it is an effective way to create new products and services, and more importantly, learn how to implement this process in your startup or careers.

OVERVIEW

Design Thinking is a framework that tackles complex issues by innovating new solutions.

In this hands-on workshop we'll learn and practice how to discover real human needs (a.k.a. actually going to the consumer versus trying to decipher their behaviors from a spreadsheet), how to define the real issue at hand, and how to generate creative solutions with effective business models.

SPACE, FOOD, AND DRINKS!

This event is sponsored and co-hosted by the Chicago Innovation Exchange.

Your fee includes food, drinks, and all materials needed. (Free for UChicago students!)
